A lot of firms don’t take in young people in apprenticeships because the present salary is too high in a time where cheap workers from the Southern and Eastern part of Europe sneak into Denmark and work without paying taxes.
So now they have suggested our parliament that the firm no longer should pay for having young people hired in apprenticeships. Instead the state should pay the workers student grants which are lower.
I am just thinking whether the European Union would accept that Danish firms can get this advantage against foreign firms trying to get projects in Denmark.
I would be angry if I had a firm which had to compete with competitors who have employees working for free.
